Darshan Academy, Devlali, organised an educational visit to the HAL Pragati Aerospace Museum in Ozar, Nashik, for students in Grades 7, 8, and 9. The visit was a thrilling, informative, and inspiring experience for all the students.
The museum offered a deep insight into India’s aviation history and the remarkable journey of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in strengthening the nation’s aerospace sector. Students were fascinated to see real aircraft and helicopters displayed up close. Students observed several iconic Indian aircraft, including: Tejas (Light Combat Aircraft), MiG-21 Fighter Aircraft, Do-228, HT-2 Trainer Aircraft, Kiran Jet Trainer.
Each aircraft showcased India’s progress in defence aviation, design, and engineering excellence. The helicopter section generated significant interest among students. The major helicopters on display included: Chetak Helicopter, Cheetah Helicopter, and Advanced Light Helicopter (Dhruv). Students learned about their use in rescue operations, military services, transportation, and disaster management.
The visit to the HAL Museum was both educational and memorable. It enriched students’ knowledge beyond textbooks and instilled a sense of pride and inspiration towards India’s technological growth.
