Darshan Academy, Devlali, celebrated Christmas Day with great joy, enthusiasm and festive spirit. The celebration was organised to spread the message of love, peace, and sharing that lies at the heart of Christmas.
The programme began with a melodious carol-singing competition, in which students from Grades III, IV, V, and VI participated enthusiastically. The students sang beautiful Christmas carols that filled the atmosphere with joy and devotion. Their confidence, coordination and cheerful expressions were truly commendable. This was followed by lively dance performances by students, showcasing the spirit of celebration through graceful, energetic movements. The colourful costumes and rhythmic steps added charm and vibrancy to the programme.
The highlight of the celebration was Santa Claus’s arrival, which brought smiles and excitement to the students. The programme concluded with a rich and inspiring address by the respected Principal, Ms. Urmila Sharma, who beautifully explained the evolution, true meaning, and importance of Christmas Day. She emphasized values such as love, kindness, forgiveness, obedience, and compassion, encouraging students to follow them in their daily lives. The Christmas Day celebration was a joyful and meaningful experience for everyone, leaving behind cherished memories and reinforcing the message of love and togetherness.
