Darshan Academy, Devlali, organized an inspiring Essay Writing Competition on April 28, 2025, for students of grades V to X, aiming to nurture creativity, imagination, and effective writing skills among the learners. The competition was announced in advance, giving students ample time to prepare and reflect on the thoughtfully selected topics. Students from grades V–VIII chose from the themes: “If I could fly like a bird,” “The most memorable day of my life,” and “If I could visit any place in the world.” Students from grades IX–X had equally engaging prompts: “A world without borders,” “A letter to my future self,” and “A day on the Moon – How I would spend it.”
Participants penned their essays in their classrooms during the last two periods, under the supervision of their class teachers. Adhering to the guidelines of originality, clarity, and structure, students impressed with their expressive language, imaginative thoughts, and meaningful insights. The competition brought out the writer in every student, reinforcing the idea that “with words we build worlds and with worlds, we build ourselves.”
