Grandparents’ Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm at Darshan Academy, Devlali, on July 29, 2026. The event was organized to honour the love, care, and wisdom of grandparents and to strengthen the bond between generations.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome for all the grandparents. Students presented a prayer, songs, dances, and short skits expressing their love and gratitude. The performances filled the atmosphere with happiness and emotion. Fun games and interactive activities were conducted for the grandparents, creating moments of laughter and togetherness. The winners were appreciated with small tokens of love. Students also expressed their feelings by presenting handmade cards and gifts to their grandparents.
The principal addressed the gathering and spoke about the invaluable role grandparents play in shaping children’s values, character, and lives. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and refreshments for all the guests.
